Lani Jungeun Lee / Painter

Lani Jungeun Lee is a painter, graphic designer, singer, songwriter and a multi-media artist. She always wanted to be a painter ever since she was a little girl and later she went to a college in Korea and obtained a Bachelor degree in Fine Art. Although she has been working as a display designer and a fashion magazine advertising creative director and a graphic designer for many years for living, She still wanted to pursue her dreams to be an art painter. She was born and raised in a big city and always dreamed of an island life. She traveled to many different countries to find the perfect ‘location’ to make her dreams come true. And one day she finally found one. In 2014, she moved to Oahu, Hawaii. Shortly after her move, a Hawaiian friend named her Lani, a Hawaiian word meaning “heaven”. Since moving to Oahu, she’s been painting wildlife, birds, flowers, wind, and ocean. But she’s also been expressing the importance of animal rights and protecting environment with Her cute and peculiar style. One of her hopes is that many people become more aware of these matters through her arts.

Lani has regularly been donating to World Wide Fund for Nature, an international non-governmental organization, to help the wilderness preservation and the reduction of human impact on the environment.
